Bookmarks feature and RSS Issues

Using Ghost Pro

Our publication has several RSS syndications — and to be honest it’s been great being able to build custom RSS templates within the theme. I really love it.

However, one issue we run into with most RSS feeds is that they do not handle the Ghost “Bookmarks” feature very well. They look great on the Ghost site but this is how they typically get rendered at a syndication:

Inspecting the Bookmark, I can see that the little publisher icon thumbnail that is being fetched is actually a lot bigger than what is needed:

I’m curious if anyone who is doing syndication has had and found a solution to how the bookmarks render at the RSS destination. I’m not sure there is anything I can do within the RSS template other than removing these from the content of the post altogether.
