Hello new to ghost and new to the forum.
I have ghost installed locally to learn on, I want to add a bookmark from one ‘post page’ to another, the bookmark shows correctly in the editor but doesn’t show correctly when viewing the live post page in a browser??
What am i doing wrong :(
I assumed something simple like this would work straight out the box being that it’s a clean install of ghost and ghost theme?

Thank you Cathy, I managed to follow a guide to install ghost in a docker at the weekend so just tried it on the live (private) site and it works correctly I didn’t think to try that yesterday.
Do you know why it doesn’t work locally? I like to test and layout everything locally then transfer to the live site i’m building.

So there’s a known bug where assets (necessary to style most of the cards, including the bookmark) don’t get correctly generated on Windows. @9larsons has a patch for it, but it hasn’t been merged. I don’t know if that’s the bug you’re seeing, because you haven’t included enough information about your setup, but that’d be consistent with the behavior you’re describing.
For local testing, I run on a Windows laptop, but I use WSL2 with Ubuntu, so I’m effectively running on Linux, which has better support than Ghost on Windows does. I highly recommend that, if you’re on Windows!
that makes sense, thanks for the reply, hopefully anyone who has the same issue will find this post now, I did think it was odd for something so simple to not working correctly.
