Bulk Delete Button

Why did you remove the bulk delete button for members after we filter members based on certain criteria. I realize you make money based on how many members we have, but you have to realize for many of us who’s businesses are entirely ran by email it serves us not purpose to have people who have received lots of emails but have no opens. When you run advertising campaigns on social media, you get tons of these people who sign up but never use or check their email and we want to delete those people to keep our email list clean.

Just up until last week I was able to bulk delete those members, and it would allow me to back them up and now it does not do that. Unless I am missing something, and it’s just changed or I am possibly losing my mind and just don’t see the same option I’ve always had before. I’m certain there was a red “delete members”, and now that option is gone. Am I wrong, and what is the solution to this? Do I really have to individually delete them now?

I love ghost, but I am unwilling to pay for members who serve me no value and If I must go through 1 by 1 and delete them I will and I hope others do to because we have to be able to cut cost that serve us no purpose.

Thanks

Hey Jetsetter, I just tried it, and it appears to be working OK for me?

I did have to apply a filter before the option became available, but it’s there.

Hey @The_Jetsetter_Cheap - You’re definitely not losing your mind! This past week we identified an issue in that part of the system that caused us to temporarily remove the bulk delete for members when filtering for more than one criteria as a safeguard while we fix the underlying problem. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible here.

In the meantime, our team can help you remove any members in bulk if you’d like to email support@ghost.org. And, if you do end up inadvertently hitting a member limit because of this, we will definitely refund/credit your account!
