Can GHOST be used without Markdown and how?

#1

I read that GHOST can be used without markdown with a plugin.
Which plugin is that?
Does it work in self installed version?

From The Ultimate Guide to Markdown - Ghost Blog:

Possibly the coolest feature of Markdown is that it also just supports plain old HTML. If you find yourself stuck and unable to do what you want in Markdown - you can simply write in regular HTML and it will work just fine.

And there is the new Koenig Editor (beta).

Do I need basic HTML code knowledge?

#4

No, HTML is just one of the options. The current editor has a toolbar, a side-by-side editor|preview, etc. See also the above link to the forum discussion about the next editor in beta.

Nope, it’s a nice to have if you want to integrate HTML stuff, but purely optional.
