Use a plain text editor instead of a rich text editor

I am using Ghost 2.30.2. I would like the Ghost editor to show plain markdown text instead of a live preview of how the blog post will look. Is there a setting that makes this possible?

I think there is no going back to old plain text/markdown editing experience as everything sits in DB as a different format than Markdown.

This format is called Mobiledoc

That’s why if you switch from old post-editing to new Konig editor; it is not possible to go back.

Though you can add Markdown blocks in the editor and enjoy same old plain markdown editing experience.

Hey :wave:. You can do this with the Markdown card, after selecting it you can write your entire blog post in markdown:
