Hi,
I have Ruby theme. The logo turns translucent when in hover and I need to override that. I can’t really make any custom changes to the nav actually, Ghost’s internal styling seems to override everything. Any thoughts on making custom nav edits?
If you’re editing the theme, don’t forget to run the build step afterward to compile the CSS. Otherwise, you’re going to wonder why none of your changes are showing up. 
If I remember correctly, that theme basically writes out two sets of navigation for the header, one used in mobile and one in desktop. Is it possible you’re changing the ‘wrong’ one?

Wow, yes you called it! 
As a newb, I’m realizing this, edits to one template does not affect another.
And the build process was completely tripping me up, it makes sense now, thanks
