Duplicate Meta Descriptions

The way posts display in my theme, I have content by tag that’s page 1, page 2, etc.

Each of these pages has the same meta description. When I had WordPress (gasp!) I could use the SEO plugin to avoid duplicate descriptions with variables.

Is there something similar I can do in Handlebars or in the Ghost editor?
