Email fields on Ghost sites not showing suggested addresses

When I visit Ghost sites (with official themes) and click into the “subscribe” email fields, Safari does not suggest my email address. (Issue details and steps to reproduce below.)

Here’s an example from platformer.news, but this problem happens on almost all sites built with Ghost.

Issue Summary
Issue: When I place my cursor in an email form field on a Ghost website viewed in Safari, no suggested email addresses appear, leading me to believe the email form field is not coded correctly.
Expected: When I place my cursor in an email form field on a Ghost website viewed in Safari, suggested email addresses should appear. In iOS and iPadOS, they should appear in the bar above the keyboard. On MacOS, they should appear as a drop-down connected to the form field.

Steps to Reproduce
Here’s an example from one site:

  1. Go to https://platformer.news using Safari on iOS, iPadOS, or MacOS
  2. Scroll down to the form field with the Subscribe button
  3. Place your cursor in the form field
  4. Note that none of your email addresses are suggested

Same issue on my sign up widget/mobile…I can get the email to popup on iOS but tapping won’t fill the form. People still have to type it out.
