Enable free subscribe in latest version

Hi,

I am trying to add a subscribe option like in v2 but the admin keeps bugging me about adding a fee which i do not want, am I missing something?

I am still able to collect emails of users in the latest ghost without them having to pay right?

Yes, please follow these steps;

  1. Go to Ghost panel.
  2. Visit Labs tab.
  3. Enable Members feature.
  4. In portal settings, you can select free option.
  5. Save and close.
  6. Don’t forget to update links in your theme. You can change or view Portal links in Portal Settings.
