I know you can start a members-only newsletter, but can you start a members-only podcast on Ghost? How?

You will need a theme that specially built for podcast

With bit customization you can make any theme Podcast ready but you have to host your audio files on somewhere else as per the link posted above by @vikaspotluri123

hi, @vikaspotluri123 Tried to use the Wave theme, added the Audio URL to the Facebook description. The play button is visible in the post in the homepage, but it is not playing the audio. I tried with anchor Podcast link. please help

You can embed podcast episodes from any platform no matter what theme you’re using.

There are also a couple of Podcast integrations that allow you to embed private podcast episodes:
