How to add an image between two items in an ordered list without breaking it?

Hello!

As stated in the title, I’m trying to add an image to a blog post. Contextually, it’s important that it goes between two items in the list. However, the only way I seem to be able to insert an image (either via the UI or via the /image command) is by ending the list. All subsequent items, below the image, will start a new ordered list instead of continuing it.

How can I get around this using the new Ghost editor? My installation is up-to-date at least as of one month ago, and I’m using the latest Safari to edit my post.

Hey Fabio,

One quick workaround for this would be to use a Markdown card for your list. That way, you can create your numbered list manually and insert an image in between list items, like so:

Type / or click the + icon to open the card menu in the editor and select Markdown :slight_smile:
