Please correct me if I’m wrong. I’ll share my evidence that this works. I’m going to reference only 1 customer, abbreviated as WF.
August 21: I moved to Ghost.
August 26: WF begins free trial for monthly.
September 9: WF converts to paid monthly membership.
October 8: WF sets membership to cancel / non-renewal.
October 9: WF membership expires
October 22: WF begins free trial for monthly.
October 22: WF notifies our support team that there seems to be a bug as he is getting a second free trial.
I combined screenshots from email (using a search for their email address) and screenshots from profile as a customer in Stripe.

This seems like a potential issue. I didn’t see an option to block customers from getting multiple free trials (without turning off trials completely) or to set a cool down period between when they could get free trials.
I checked in Stripe and the customer used the same card (or same ending 4 digits plus expiration). So same email, same credit card, same name.
This was previously referenced in this thread: Members can use unlimited free trials?
However, that thread incorrectly states: “If they tried to sign up for another free trial of your paid subscription, they’d have to use a different email address.” Therefore, I believe it is appropriate to start a new thread.
