We recently had a Member change their email address, as can be seen in their member activity log.
A few months later, we got an email from this member complaining that they were being billed twice a month, on different dates, for their subscription.
I checked and they definitely only have 1 Member account on Ghost Admin. However, when I checked Stripe dashboard, the changing email had not updated their customer account. Instead, it had created a new one, with the old one continuing to exist and be subscribed!
This seems like a rather critical issue?
We’re using Ghost(Pro), if that matters, and the member changed their email address on 20 Aug 2024, so whatever version of Ghost was live on Ghost(Pro) on that date is what we were using at the time.
