I’m not a web developed & half of the language that’s being used on this forum is baffling for me so apologies for what is almost certainly a daft question.
I have set up my magazine website and written a few (unpublished) posts. I have tagged them with the appropriate tags which, I understand, will show them in different categories on the homepage.
What I can’t for the life of me figure out is how to categorise the posts so that they show on the different pages.
It’s driving me completely mad

It looks like you’re using Headline. I think the step you’re missing is available in Settings → Design. In the sidebar, you should see the option for adding which tags you want to show up on the homepage.
