I want to only have paid plans. How to remove free plans from Ghost? I am unable to remove the Free plan from Ghost. It is going to confuse my members who I want to give free trial to and then take subscriptions from.
You can turn it off - it’s under the Portal settings. (Ghost > Settings (gear icon) > Membership > customize portal.) Adjust “Tiers available at sign-up”
Note that although you can make it disappear from the portal, users who sign up for paid and then cancel will end up on the free tier. So if you’re sending a newsletter or something paid, make sure you send it to paid members to avoid the lapsed folks.

Following up on what Cathy said, it’s super valuable to have people default back to a free tier when their subscription expires b/c you can filter by FREE and then send a re-subscribe offer
