We are experiencing some issues with the sitemap generated by Ghost. The featured images and internal images are not included in the posts sitemap.

Hi @deepjyoti! Ghost generates sitemaps only to resources such as pages, posts, tags, and authors. Image sitemaps are not currently supported. Would suggest adding this topic to ideas instead and if it gets enough traction we might prioritize it on the roadmap :)
Sorry, @deepjyoti. Just noticed that you probably meant the counts of images in the Images columns. Definitely looks like a bug. Will investigate!
Did you ever investigate this problem? It seems like all ghost generated sitemaps feature this problem…
I think the sitemap refers to whether there’s a featured image (which is part of the meta data) on the page, not how many total images are in the post. In that sense, the sitemap is working as expected, but please also see this discussion for more info:
