Images not saving edits

Issue Summary

  • When an image is added to a post, a user has the ability to edit
  • Any edits done to images do not save
  • I would expect Save and Exit to save the edits to an image but it does not

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new post
  2. Add an image
  3. Click Edit button in top right whilst hovering over an image
  4. Make any changes to the image (eg; add a Redact in the image)
  5. Click Save and Close
  6. Edits to image (sizing, filters, redactions, etc.) are not applied to the image
  7. Preview the new post to confirm changes to image have not saved

We have pushed a fix for this and it should be live on Ghost Pro

The fix will go out for self hosting in the next release

Nice! Thanks for fixing it so quickly, that’s super cool.

I’ve just tested it on my Ghost Pro account and the bug is fixed. A huge thanks to the Ghost eng team, I hope you all have a lovely weekend :raised_hands:
