Is the child theme concept on the roadmap?

Hi there. I hope you are all okay.

I’m moving from WordPress (because it’s boring) to Ghost; I note that updating Ghost themes is a bit of a pain, certainly in comparison to WordPress which couldn’t be any easier.

Does Ghost have any plans to allow theme updates to be easy and with no risk of overwriting code?
