Meta Descriptions/SEO for Authors

Hi Everyone,

I’m using ghost version 2.8, and I’m currently doing a little work on the SEO end. One problem I’m running into is Moz flags Author pages and Tags as thin content and Also categorizes Authors as missing meta descriptions. Does anyone have an idea why or how I can fix this? Or is this just something I’m going to have to ignore? Is there a place to change Author meta descriptions? I thought it would be covered by the Author Bio.

Don’t worry, I figured it out.

Go into your theme and open the author.hbs file. At the end of the section, just above </head>, put <meta name="description" content="{{bio}}" />. Save, zip, and upload. Author’s now have meta descrptions and moz won’t hate you.
