I would like to build/purchase a more advanced announcement bar for my Ghost site.
Specs for it:
- Be able to hold multiple messages.
- Scroll messages at an adjustable speed.
- Have each message either be a link to something on the site, or contain a link.
- Be able to disable the bar from within the Ghost admin.
- Be able to edit the messages from with the Ghost admin.
I’ve looked at both the built-in announcement bar, and various third-party bars, and they all fall short of those specs in one way or another.
I don’t mind editing code, but I don’t want to have to edit and upload the theme each time I want to change messages, or turn off the bar.
Thoughts?
