Hi,
I’m totally new to Ghost themes. I purchased this theme (https://brightthemes.com/themes/gazet) and installed and activated it. I tried to customise it to suit my needs but the options and documentation is too overwhelming for a technology-challenged guy like me.
I am basically looking to achieve/replicate this look and feel Home 4 but finding myself hopelessly lost. This is how my site currently looks: https://the-dharma-dispatch.ghost.io/
If someone here can please help me in getting it going, I’ll really be grateful. If there is a helpful video or illustrated, step-by-step user guide, that would be great. The theme’s documentation is way too complex for me and I followed their instructions multiple times.
Thanks!
You can save yourself the development time and expense to customise a paid theme if you don’t have the necessary skills or spare $$, by considering Fantasma
Design is all front end, no need to touch a line of code, and you are not confined to theme parametres. Use their section blocks to ‘build exactly what you want and need’ without shedding out unnecessary $ for a developer to help you.
The Fantasma $99 annual plan is all you’ll ever need. Try it out for yourself. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
It’s the best DIY Ghost Theme builder out there for non techies on a budget, and they’ve only just got started with so much more in the pipeline for their Pro customers.
Bright offers a 14 day refund guarantee, so you’re not locked in.
Good luck wich ever route you take.
Gazet definitely has a couple (dozen) setup steps. I tried to look at your site to see if I could see where you might have gone wrong, but the link you gave isn’t resolving. If you still need help, feel free to update the post!
Helllo,
Thanks. I’ll check it out. Please let me know if you’re associated with Fantasma.
I’m an early adopter! ;) It’s the best thing that happened to me. As a prior web designer - not developer, it allows me to do so much more than I could before with a standard theme. I’m not locked in to layouts.
No pressure. It’s free to try out the basic plan.
Oh, thanks again. I’ll give it a try.
