Pay creators/authors based on contributions

Hi all,

I hope this is the correct section to post this in but please forgive me if not.

I am looking for a feature whereby you pay contributors/authors to your site on a per event basis and wondered if this currently exists on Ghost (or could be custom built).

In an ideal world the workflow would be as follows:

  1. Creator gets an account and writes article
  2. Goes to an editor approval screen (draft)
  3. Once approved and published then creator gets paid - eg £500 per article.

Alternatively & probably more complex but ideally this would be based on user sessions. For example the workflow would be:

  1. Creator gets an account and writes article
  2. Goes to an editor approval screen (draft)
  3. Once approved and published then creator gets paid - eg £250 per article.
  4. Every month creator gets paid based on content new user sessions views per 000 (CPM)
  5. Site owner sets their own CPM (eg £10) and creator content gets paid out monthly based upon this from site analytics.

The use case is a community of freelance creators that produce content and get continual revenue based on the traffic and potentially in the future other metrics (eg returning users, conversion to paid membership).

I hope this makes sense and if anyone knows if this exists within Ghost or could be custom developed or if there is a 3rd party integration that would support this I would appreciate any help.

TIA
Alex
