Would be great to have these popups as well available in Ghost, when users scroll 50% of the page.
This is completely client-side thing and can be easily achieved by themes or code injection. I donât have any examples but I believe there would be some themes already providing this âfeatureâ.
On the other hand, I would like to share that, as a reader I hate those modals. I find them so annoying.
Itâs like:
Modal: âEnjoying this post?â
Me: âYeah, I âwasâ enjoying until you interrupt me.â
For me, putting a static subscription call out form to the end of the article is the best. Or a small âpopoverâ comes from sides or bottom, without blocking whole screen, is also a acceptable. Not a modal. As a curse of being European, we are already fighting enough with cookie modals on almost every site.
