Hi all! I have a post that is supposed to have a public preview and a members-only section. I put the divider in the middle of tip 3, here:
The divider says “free public preview ↑ ↓ only visible to members”.
But when I view the post in “incognito” mode, as a signed-out non-member, I can still see the whole post.
Can anyone help with this?
OK, I figured it out. The divider alone is not enough. I also have to go into the post settings and set the post to “Members only.”
Sorry for the newbie question. I am happy delete it, but this question might come up for other new Ghost users, so I’m leaving it up for now.
I have this problem and there is no “members only” option in settings (that I can see)
You’ll find it in the post settings area - there’s a small button in the top right corner (next to publish) when you have the post open in the editor.
It’s under ‘post access’.
duh! sorry, thanks; I had to make a small change to be able to update but that’s ok.
