I want to remove the Subscribe overlay which obscures my Publication Cover. Untoggling “show portal button” does not do anything in Source v1.5.0. If I choose “nobody” on who can subscribe, it removes the subscribe button but also removes the entire Publication Cover. Suggestions?
You can do this with some code injection, but you may want to be aware that the whole cover area will disappear for users who are signed in. If that’s not the behavior you want, you may want to look at another theme.
Thanks. I actually just used Claude AI to help me inject code that removed the button while preserving the background. At first it narrowed the background while removing the button; next, it restored the full width. So all good now.
