I see some of the latest paid themes like Snook, Hype & Nio for eg.,have gorgeous social share icons built in to posts. Is there a way to do this on the free themes, in my case Source? Or is it just a case of use something like Elfsight and pay for the privilege? $60 seems a bit steep though unless your keen to promote Elfsight for free. Might as well buy a premium Ghost theme.
I mean it can be done by editing the theme code for yourself, finding the icons, its just legwork and AI probably can help with 99% of it. The reason for custom themes is that they do all the legwork for you, allowing you to focus on content itself and your business,
Yeh I guess so. I’m not a developer, but maybe one day soon I’ll dip my toes in and see what AI can do. But I just thought social sharing was part of the basics of any blog, and should be baked in by default is all. My bad. Moving on.

Its not hard but challenging, it will take some time and dedication to html, css, and if you get deep in handlebars. You’ll learn loads though that you can apply into things that you never could before. Running a business online will mean learning some new skills or understanding which skills you choose to pay for to not learn.
