[SOLVED] Can't save updated Offer

I have an Offer. It’s not been used once yet, because I haven’t shared the link with anyone.

Whenever I go in to change the Description of the Offer, it refuses to save:

This happens a lot. (And yet sometimes I can make changes.)

Are there parameters that aren’t allowed or something? Characters like “£” or parentheses that can’t be in the description?

Is there a word count limit (that’s hidden)?

Are there any other aspects to Offers I should be aware of, that might prevent editing?

I’ve tried different browsers on different devices and I still can’t make changes to the offer.

Any advice? Something I’m missing?

If you open your dev tools (F12 in your browser, then go to the console tab), you might get a diagnostic message. Or you might not! Clearly the UI needs some improvement!

I tried disabling all extensions, to see if that helped, but it hasn’t.

You might get something more diagnostic by going to the network tab, looking for a red request, and then looking at the details of that (there’ll be a couple tabs).

it’d be nice if the admin panel actually told you that! Consider filing a bug over on Github!

Is there a way to highlight the solution, for anyone else who comes along to this thread?

Adding a bug to fix that error message! Definitely should let you know why.
