how can I get viewers to sign up for free to get posts/articles on the web?

set up for viewers to subscribe and pay to receive the monthly issues?
So you can mark any post’s access as members only or paid members only. (This is available on the right side menu of the post editor, where you also set the tags and author.)
I’d suggest using the ‘public preview’ card (it’s in the plus menu) to make the first part of the post available to everyone, and the second part restricted. That’s a good way to get people hooked and wanting more.
