Alert for when meta description is missing

It would be great to get a reminder when making a post to do a meta description and title.

I’m going through Ahrefs and there are loads of posts where I’ve forgotten to write these.

I know it’s my human error but it would be nice to have an alert if these fields are empty saying

“Meta description is empty. Are you sure you want to publish?”

Meta description is completely optional, and not a ranking factor - so we would not consider making a prominent nagging piece of UI for it.

Using ahrefs sounds like the correct approach if this is something you care about keeping track of.
