Bookmark metadata defaulting to Ghost home, not post [Solved]

I have just started using Bookmarks and I’m not sure what I should expect to see.

I am linking to a previously published post of my own, elsewhere on my Ghost site.

While the link itself is correct (i.e. clicking on the bookmark will take me to the Post in question), what’s appearing in the bookmark is just the metadata for my overall Ghost site. Site description and site image. Not the Post description and the Post image.

How do I get it to display the Post details on the Bookmark card?

What browser are you using? What version of Ghost?

All of my bookmarks are saving correctly with the Metadata on both Firefox and Chrome.

Other things to check: Are you in private mode? Which theme?

Safari 26.0.1 … I’ve only just started using Ghost so I’m assuming the latest version?

I have a password on the site while I build it, yes. Would that change things?

I’m using Alto v1.0.0 at the moment (although will probably swap)

Thanks @Cathy_Sarisky, I switched Private mode off briefly, refreshed the Post and the Bookmark displayed correctly. Great stuff – I love Ghost so far! :smiley:
