I’m working on a new Ghost 6 theme called Signal Library, developed by RM Studios, and I’d love to get feedback from fellow Ghost publishers before finishing it.
The idea is simple: What if your newsletter and your resource library could live together in one organized, professional website?
Signal Library is designed for publishers who send newsletters but also maintain guides, tutorials, templates, or other evergreen resources.
Here’s what’s already working in the prototype:
A dedicated newsletter issue archive
A searchable resource library with category filters
Separate labels for free, members-only, and paid content
Native Ghost membership and subscription support
Responsive desktop and mobile layouts
Light and dark modes
Customizable branding and homepage sections
The prototype runs on Ghost 6 and has passed Ghost’s theme compatibility validator.

I’m considering a $99 one-time launch price, but the theme isn’t available to purchase yet. I’m gathering feedback before deciding whether to finish and release it.
I’d really appreciate your thoughts on two questions:
If you publish a newsletter on Ghost, would having an organized, searchable resource library alongside it be useful?
What feature would make a theme like this worth purchasing for your publication?
If you’d like to hear about a potential release, there’s also an optional early-access waitlist on the preview page. No purchase commitment.
Thanks for taking a look! Constructive feedback is very welcome.
Heads up, the screenshots on your preview page aren’t loading, I only see the alt text. Might be the img folder not getting deployed, or a case mismatch in the paths (Pages is case sensitive, macOS isn’t). Your og:image is a relative path too, so link previews will come up empty.
Two other things before launch. There’s already a Ghost theme called Signal (the podcast one posted here in August), so the name could get confusing. And a live Ghost demo would beat screenshots anyway, people want to click through the paywall states.
How does the library filter hold up with a few hundred resources? Pulling everything in with limit all, or going through the Content API?
A quick update on LetterHarbor (formerly Signal Library).
The screenshot issue is resolved, and the preview images are now displaying correctly.
I’ve also updated the resource library to handle larger collections. It now combines Ghost’s native pagination with the Content API, allowing search and category filtering across the full library rather than limiting results to the newest 100 resources.
I tested it with 509 resources across multiple categories and access levels, with all resources accessible and no missing or duplicate results.
The theme has been renamed LetterHarbor to avoid confusion with the existing Signal themes.
The interactive Ghost demo is also complete locally, and I’m arranging public hosting for it now.
Appreciate you taking the time to look through it and raise those points.
This is a nice idea for anyone running a newsletter on Ghost. Having newsletters and useful resources in one place would make things easier for readers. It would also be good to have custom collections so people can find what they need without much effort. Looking forward to seeing the finished theme!
thank you . im finishing up getting the demo ready. it should be up within the next day or so . check it out and let me know what you think or if maybe its missing something . thanks again
Thanks! That’s exactly what we’re aiming for with LetterHarbor — bringing newsletters and useful resources together in one organized Ghost publication.
We’ve just launched a live demo, including a searchable resource library and category filtering. Your suggestion about custom collections is a good one, and we’re looking closely at how flexible those should be.
If you have a particular collection setup in mind, I’d love to hear it!
