Forgotten Password Problem!

We’ve had a temporary power outage here and now find that I cannot log in to my ghost account as the response then says ‘incorrect password,’ then following a few tries, ‘too many login attempts.’

So I decided to click on ‘Forgot?’ and then I receive an email with a link to follow to change my password.

However, following the link, the change password form requires me to enter my old password, which I’ve forgotten. So reverting to my ’secret password’ file I entered my saved password, but that doesn’t work either, for some unearthly reason!

I’m well and truly up the creek without a paddle. So please, how do I change my password without knowing my current/previous password?

This doesn’t sound correct. The password reset screen should have two password fields on it - a new password field, and a confirm new password field - there’s no old password field.

Perhaps you can share a screenshot of what you’re seeing when clicking the forgot password email link?

Hi Kevin. Its now OK. How/why? I’ve no idea, but probably finger trouble here.
