Forum topics are usually way over my head. I’m a complete novice, forget code and all that, I need a less cumbersome method to work with photos. I use my Samsung Galaxy. I was so disappointed that there was no way to simply insert a pic to my blog from the phone. As of now, it’s go to Google Photos, download to computer as zip file, extract to folder, rename, then add to post. This is a huge time suck! I need a simpler method! And a REAL beginners forum!
I’m not sure what you’re doing, but if I edit a post and click the ‘+’ in the margin, select Image, I can upload from Photos, take a picture, or upload a file. I use an iPhone, but I’d be surprised is this doesn’t work on Android too.

You may not see the ‘+’ because the screen is too small; try rotating the screen 90°.
