✨ Introducing Features Filter - Making it easier to find your perfect Ghost theme!

Hey Ghost Community,

I’m excited to announce a new update on Theme My Blog - designed to save you time and streamline your search for the ideal Ghost theme!

:sparkles: What’s New?
I’ve just rolled out a Features filter alongside the existing filters for Use Cases. Now, whether you’re hunting for themes that boast dark mode, offer a vertical menu, support custom pages, or any other specific functionality, you can filter Ghost themes based on the features you need the most.

 Why It Matters?

:rocket: Speed Up Your Search: No more scrolling through countless themes. Narrow down your options in seconds.
:man_juggling: Tailored to Your Needs: Whether you’re building a blog, portfolio, or business site, you can now find themes that perfectly match your vision using our Use Case filter.
 Enhanced User Experience: My goal is to make finding the right theme as intuitive and efficient as possible, letting you focus on creating great content using Ghost CMS.

I’d love you to check it out and share your thoughts. How do you think this new filter will impact your theme selection process? Any new features you’d like to see next in Theme My Blog to make it more easier to find a Ghost theme?

You can check out all the available features at - Theme Features

Please note that all these features and categories are manually sorted and added for each theme. There might be some human error. Please pardon me for that. Also, some filters (like ‘creative’, ‘minimal’, etc.) are subjective. Each person has a different taste, so you might not like what I consider ‘creative’. But I have tried my best to cater to a larger audience.

If you have any suggestions/feedback to improve the overall experience of finding a Ghost theme, please comment.

Thank you.

Looks great! Congratulations!

It would be great if, as selections are made in the filtering section, the filter options in other categories are also updated accordingly.

For example, here I filter by the price but I’m not able to see the list of developers provides Free themes. It would be a great and very useful addition. (of course, same would apply to Use Cases, Ratings and Features)

Very nice.

I’m surprised to see that many themes with advertisements, and by a couple of specific themes that didn’t have advertisements last time I worked with them and that don’t mention ads on the theme’s homepage. (Although there absolutely should be more themes set up to handle them, based on how many requests I get.)

Maybe I missed it, but how are the star ratings determined? That’s something that bugs me about the official marketplace and yours too.

Thank you.

For ratings, I am planning to remove them altogether. I do not want to affect the user’s decision in any way. The main aim of this website is to enable easy search for Ghost themes and also support themes which are not listed on the official marketplace. There are some amazing themes which are not listed and I have added them in Exclusive page.

Instead of ratings, I will add details about when the theme was released. This will give users a fair idea about how old that theme is.

There are also some themes that are not maintained. I don’t know how to inform users about that. It is difficult for me to update individual theme every now and then, as this website is maintained by only me. I am open for suggestions.

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

If it were me, I’d be thinking about letting developers mark their own features and last-updated date, if you aren’t already. Take some load off, and maybe improve accuracy of the listings too?

You’re missing:

Possibly more - here’s my list (which is also missing things, given I haven’t done an update super recently!):
