I am just getting started with Ghost and looking for examples of Ghost powered sites that are successfully localized in two or more languages, with links if possible.
How well do you find it supported and what pitfalls or problems did you encounter?

You can check out one of my blog post: How to Support Multilingual Pages in Ghost - Benjamin Rancourt. It’s possible to have a multilingual website with Ghost, but the “hack” doesn’t provide the best user experience in Ghost admin and there is still a long way to go to get all Ghost features fully translated. ![]()
Good luck!
Thanks. Not the developer story I hoped to hear, but thanks. Hopefully localization gets native or 1st class support in the next major version.
Thanks for the discussion. Love Ghost and would love to explore using it for a new project, but likely can’t make the case for it since localization doesn’t have native or first-class support.
Linking a few updates to what’s above, since some things have changed and some haven’t.
So, I would describe user-facing localization to ONE language as excellent, or able to be excellent with some more translation help, depending on the language. That’s all native.
What’s not native/first-class right now is multi-language, where your site serves content in multiple languages, and users get menus, etc in their chosen language.
I haven’t used it, but here’s a theme that supports multi-language, although by requiring two Ghost installs. (Agreed, this is non-ideal.) Why TanaFlows Theme? | TanaFlows Documentation
