Upgrade from free to paid, at higher tier

Hi, I’ve been using the free trial to draft my first post. I need to upgrade to a paid plan, and I know I’m going to need the 5,000 member tier to start out. I haven’t imported any subscribers yet, so when I try to upgrade my plan it’s automatically putting me at the 1,000-member level.

Is there any way to set the initial tier? Do I need to sign up and pay the 1,000 member fee, and then it will ask for more when I try to import my subscriber list?

Thanks, I have been unclear if this forum is just focused on the software, or is used to address managed hosting issues as well.
