Which workflow Zapier + Patreon

Apologies if this has been asked before. I searched, but I’m still not sure.

Here’s my situation: I currently have 1 paid Ghost tier, and I have three different kinds of Patreon patrons:

  1. free
  2. paid (different levels)
  3. former paid (subsequently cancelled)

Ideally I would like to (a) make it so anyone in category 2 with a minimum tier there automatically also gets a subscription to my Ghost tier, and (b) offer anyone in category 2-3 a 6 month complimentary start subscription, even if they are no longer Patrons, or don’t currently belong to a high enough tier.

On the Zapier integration page, 3 different workflows are named:

  1. Add new supporters from Patreon to Ghost
  2. Create new Ghost members from new Patreon members
  3. Create new Ghost members from new Patreon pledges

I think I want option 1, but it’s a bit hard to tell. Will that do everything I need it to do?

I don’t know much about Patreon, but these three workflows can only add new members to Ghost.
They can’t associate members with specific membership tiers, or offer 6-month complimentary subscriptions after a Pateron cancellation, you will need more customized workflows to achieve that.
