Why do offers ask for name & email (when logged in)

I’m about to bring over a bunch of people from another platform, and they’ll all be automatically made FREE Members, on import.

I’m creating an offer that will be made available to them, over the course of my launch weekend.

I’m testing it out, and have logged myself in as a member, so I can see what it would look like.

Why does it ask for Name and Email again? Doesn’t it already know who they are?

This seems like a sure fire way to get very confusing duplicate Members on the system!!

What I’m looking for is a way to make the OFFER appear in the same format as the PLANS, for when someone is logged in, without their Name & Email i.e.

…but with the offer showing, instead of the standard price.

How do I do that?

I heard back from Ghost Support on this one – the name and email fields on the Offer modal window come pre-filled and are not editable, so my fears were unfounded – they’re for information, not data entry.
