Facebook cards not rich?

• What version of Ghost are you using? newest
• What configuration?
• What browser? tried in Chrome and FF
• What errors or information do you see in the console?
• What steps could someone else take to reproduce the issue you’re having? try and copy and paste into FB and it only renders a link, no image & no text.

I have checked the social media customizations and the preview renders correctly. i have made no changes on the back end to any templates. It’s using default theme.

This happens when you try to share a URL before it has been given an image or text - Facebook caches the structured data (or lack of it) so that nothing appears when it’s shared again in future. To get Facebook to re-fresh its data, change the slug/url of your post and try sharing that instead.

This is a Facebook issue, so there’s nothing that can be done in Ghost to prevent it, unfortunately.
