Hey all, I did a search - both here in the forum and on the wider web - but didn’t find this issue, so apologies if it’s a duplicate. Happy to check out any threads or links where this may have already been answered.
I’m self-hosting Ghost through PikaPods and having endless hedache with Mailgun’s bulk emails. Transactional is working flawlessly, but my newsletters keep saying “published but failed to send” every week. Some weeks it’ll do a partial send, this week it appears to have not sent anything. It says “sent to 106” on Ghost, but Mailgun is showing 5 emails sent in the last 24 hours (the post went live 5 hours ago). All my DNS records are showing green in Mailgun and I did use the API key from https://app.mailgun.com/settings/api_security. The Mailgun API setup in my Ghost settings is showing a green check mark and I have the batch size set to 9.
One thing that may or may not be relevant is that this only happens with pre-scheduled public posts. Each week I write a blog post, I email to paid members, then I make a copy and schedule it for publication and email to free members. That’s the one that’s not working. (I’m doing it this way as a work-around for Ghost’s lack of automatic “early access” posts.)
I’m completely stumped on what’s going wrong. I’m happy to try to pull any logs or answer any questions, although what I can do might be limited in PikaPods (that’s kind of the point of why I’m doing it this way is so that I don’t have to get super technical with it). I’m also not super tech savvy (again, the point of using PikaPods) so I may need help finding specific logs or settings (especially in Mailgun which seems to be a wealth of options) but again, totally willing to share anything requested.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
